During the pandemics, we have found that HLA C*04-01 is a risk allele for Covid-19 severity. Since then, the finding has been reproduced by several other studies. A recent paper summarises our findings and later confirmations.
Making sure our science can be repeated and gets the same results every time is a big deal for us. We aim at getting robust and reproducible outcomes. Therefore, it’s really rewarding when we see other teams being able to reproduce our findings.
