Post-Doc - Single Cell
The BIH Core Unit Bioinformatics is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join us. As a Bioinformatician for Single Cell Data Analysis (f/m/d) you will contribute to advancing single cell technology towards clinical applications. In this position, you will perform interdisciplinary research projects and improve the involved bioinformatics workflows. Student Thesis Projects
We are looking for motivated students (f/m/d) from bioinformatics, informatics, molecular biology, medicine, biotechnology or similar. We offer Master, Bachelor, and selected Internship projects in translational bioinformatics with a focus on omics data. The specific know how requirements vary by project but generally include good programming and data analysis skills, as well as willingness to learn the relevant biomedical context. The Core Unit Bioinformatics (CUBI) of the BIH is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented student (f/m/d) to support us as a Python Software Engineer/Programmer in a paid internship. CUBI is developing the SODAR platform for large-scale scientific data and meta data management based on open source systems. The user interfaces and APIs are built using the Django framework. Data visualization in Python uses open source data science tools such as Plotly Dash.
